I love Mercurpris. Never get to see 'em, though.

That is a nice-day drivable museum piece, right there.
The only thing better, would be if it were an 86, with the fuel injected 5.0.
I don't think any of the ASC cars came with T-tops... as the alternative with the ASC McLaren package, was a customized convertible, different than the standard Mustang Convertible.
One of the greatest, and somewhat obscure fox-bodied cars... but probably one of the holy grails for a four-eyed fox fan.
I'd love it... but I don't have that money, let alone for a car that I would want to keep in pristine order, by only driving it occaisionally.

I was looking at black and orange ricers closer to NYC to reply with when I found this ...
I mean, you'd have to ignore that thing in front of the glovebox and below the dash that let's you know every day that there are only two pedals on the floor... but badass W124 from the last model year. Badass and bursting with class and quality and engineering and power and luxury and everything (but an extra pedal and door). If this is, in fact, a well sorted car, you could be looking at a nicely priced an rare German precision machine. I would shudder to think that this would go to anyone other than a Jalopnik writer or me. According to the ad it's basically a new car. The last of the over-engineered MBs, with a V8 under the hood with plenty of quality new parts installed—and at a price under $5000, it would be a steal.

That's amazing and so much cooler than the average. Thanks for making my entire evening. One of my best friends had one like it in high school and I hadn't remembered it until now. They're a hoot to drive and the non convertible is even cooler.
